It is not so much that I am endorsing HD as I am saying that instead of buying an SD Video camera he could rent one of the best HD cams.

Of course I still feel that if you want to run with the dogs you better be shooting film. Hell, if he has 5,000USD then he could rent a S16 camera and walk away with a 15 minute film.
